Ministry of Culture Raises More Than 80,000 USD for Kantha Bopha Hospital From Gala Night Charity Dinner

Siem Reap: The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts has raised more than 80,000 USD from ticket sales for the Gala Night Charity Dinner, which was held on December 16, 2022, at the Bayon Temple in Siem Reap. The ministry donated the monies to Kantha Bopha Hospital.

The "Gala Night Charity Dinner" was presided over by Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An, Minister of National Assembly-Senate Relations, and as a representative of Prime Minister Hun Sen.

"Gala Night Charity Dinner" was held in Angkor to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the inclusion of Angkor in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The event was organized to raise funds to support Kantha Bopha by selling tickets form various art performances and dinners with the participation of leaders from ministries, the UNESCO team, international experts, international partners of various projects in the Angkor area, and private companies.

In the event "Gala Night Charity Dinner," there are many types of performances by many artists from the Secondary School of Fine Arts, Department of Performing Arts, Om Youvandy Cultural Arts Club, Preah Sorya Group, Yuthakrom Khom Federation, Chey Techa Bokator School, Leak Rayong Bokator Club, classical music group Tep Botum Vong, and Pich Chornai Bokator Team.
